History Detectives
One of the shows my Tivo has decided I'd like (not incorrectly) is PBS' History Detectives. What I find rather unusual about the show, however, is that it is really going though real archives and showing how real history work is done. They even had a little segment talking about how to correctly look at archives - potentially wearing gloves, no photocopying, etc.
And some rather unusual bits of history.
All in all, a good show.

I love History Detectives, too (tho I'm more a history bandit myself). One of my AP history students actually turned me on to that show. It's nice to hear that there's a show that managed to make historical research entertaining.
